Psalm 91:14-16 (erv)
Read
Sometimes, I struggle with inspiration for writing these devotionals. Awhile back, I sent a message to my friend, Chelsea, asking her for advice during these times of not knowing what to talk about or write about. She responded by telling me that it really didn’t matter.
I was confused, because when I first started planning FaithFull Mornings, she was so supportive. Had her opinion changed? Was she not liking the content of these posts? But then she explained.
She said that what I wrote wasn’t anywhere near as important as simply writing it. I’m pretty sure her exact response was, “You’re only called to point people toward the Word, and God will take it from there.”
So today, as I write this, feeling completely uninspired and unsure of what to talk about, I’ll simply do that: I’ll point to Jesus. I’ll try to highlight one His promises that’s made an impact in my own life.
Write
Have you felt uninspired in your own life recently? How does this promise from God reassure you and bring you peace?
Pray
Take some time today to simply share anything that’s on your heart and mind with the Lord.
