1 pound lean ground turkey
1/2 white or red onion
1 green bell pepper
1 can pinto beans
1 can kidney beans
1 can diced tomatoes
1 can tomato sauce
1 teaspoon olive oil
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion salt
jalapenos
avocado
sour cream or greek yogurt
shredded cheese
Directions
- Brown turkey in a skillet and then transfer to crockpot
- Dice onion and pepper and saute in skillet with olive oil until soft, about 5 minutes. Transfer to crockpot
- Add beans (with liquid), tomato sauce, tomatoes, and spice to crockpot and stir
- Cook on low for 3-4 hours
- Add desired toppings before serving, or set up a chili bar
