Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean ground turkey

  • 1/2 white or red onion

  • 1 green bell pepper

  • 1 can pinto beans

  • 1 can kidney beans

  • 1 can diced tomatoes

  • 1 can tomato sauce

  • 1 teaspoon olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin

  • 1 teaspoon chili powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon onion salt

  • jalapenos

  • avocado

  • sour cream or greek yogurt

  • shredded cheese

Directions

  • Brown turkey in a skillet and then transfer to crockpot
  • Dice onion and pepper and saute in skillet with olive oil until soft, about 5 minutes. Transfer to crockpot
  • Add beans (with liquid), tomato sauce, tomatoes, and spice to crockpot and stir
  • Cook on low for 3-4 hours
  • Add desired toppings before serving, or set up a chili bar
