Does anyone else roam The Dollar Tree looking for fun new ideas to experience life? It’s seriously my go-to place for things I’ll never really need but thoroughly enjoy playing around, and most especially, taking pictures of.


On my most recent $1 raid, I found these cute little popsicle containers. Who doesn’t love a sweet treat on a warm day? If that doesn’t scream SUMMER, I don’t know what does. I’m not really into the fruity treats – if it’s not chocolate, I don’t want it, so I set out on a mission to develop a recipe that I could enjoy, guilt free.


Right at that moment, my favorite superhero walked in, cape and all: ShakeologyJust kidding, sort of. Shakeology is my favorite superfoods shake that tastes like dessert but acts like a salad bar (you know… without the ranch dressing). It contains over 70 superfoods from all over the world, no artificial sweeteners, has a low glycemic index, and is packed with protein and lots of other vitamins and nutrients.


I typically have my Shakeology in shake form, but when you spend a whole dollar on popsicle containers, making use of them is imperative. So I decided to combine my daily dose of antioxidants and nutrients into SIX popsicles. Yep, all of these count as 1 serving. You don’t have to consume them all at once, because brain freeze is a very real thing, but you have the option to if it’s just been one of those days.

  • 1 scoop or packet chocolate Shakeology
  • 8 ounces unsweetened almond milk
  • 4 ounces filtered water
  • T powdered peanut butter
  • 2-3 frozen strawberries
  • 5-6 ice cubes


  1. Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor
  2. Blend until smooth
  3. Pour evenly into popsicle containers
  4. Place lid on each compartment
  5. Place in the freezer for a minimum of 4 hours


This recipe can be totally customized to how you would normally enjoy your Shakeology!

Not-so-healthy bonus tip: Add a little Baileys to this for a cleaner take on an adult's only dessert!
