Restoring Relationships & Apple Protein Pancakes

Genesis 33:4 (erv)

When Esau saw Jacob, he ran to meet him. He put his arms around Jacob, hugged his neck, and kissed him. Then they both cried.

I want to offer today’s Scripture to you as a simple and quick reminder that God can restore any relationship, no matter the damage that’s been done to it. Nothing is too big for God to heal.

In earlier chapters in Genesis, Esaus’s heart was filled with anger and hatred for his brother. But the verse above shows us a brief image of Esau and Jacob and the love they shared. That love is only possible because of the work that God did in their hearts and lives. The change we get to witness in Esau is proof that God can make any relationship new again.

What relationship(s) in your life need repair and restoration?

Pray over any relationship that you wrote about in your journal today.
