His Love & Stuffed Pearfection

Psalm 86:13 (erv)

You have such great love for me. You save me from the place of death.

This isn’t the first time I’ve talked about being loved, but I think it’s a topic that’s worth repeating over and over again, because there’s a prevalent lie that we can so easily begin believing without even acknowledging it. That lie is that we’re unloved by God. Since we’ve been “collecting scripture” for a variety of subjects, I thought this was definitely one that needed to be included.

Psalm 36:7Nothing is more precious than your loving kindness. All people can find protection close to you.

Psalm 103:10-11We sinned against him, but he didn’t give us the punishment we deserved. His love for his followers is as high above us as heaven is above the earth.

Psalm 139:1Lord, you have tested me, so you know all about me.

Zephaniah 3:17The Lord your God is with you. He is like a powerful soldier. He will save you. He will show how much he loves you and how happy he is with you. He will laugh and be happy about you,

Romans 5:8 – But Christ died for us while we were still sinners, and by this God showed how much he loves us.

1 John 4:10 – True love is God’s love for us, not our love for God. He sent his Son as the way to take away our sins.

What are some of the ways God has shown His love for you? Write about all the ways you can think of in your journal.

For an understanding and acceptance of God’s perfect love for you.
