Here’s a really big, bold, exciting statement to focus on today: God promised, and then delivered, freedom from sin and death, so that you and I can serve him without fear.

Friend, we have nothing to fear, because the God of the universe already knows us; fully, completely, and still wants us. He knows the mistakes, the sins, the doubts. He knows what will fill each of our thoughts and each of our days for the rest of forever. And He still tells us that we’re free to serve him. Just the simple thought that the person I am is allowed to serve God is incredibly humbling and shows God’s endless grace.

Serves 1 Kiss Cake • 6 Servings

  • 1 tube crescent rolls
  • 30 hershey kisses
  • 2 teaspoons coconut oil, melted
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Remove all hershey kisses from their foil and place in a bowl
  3. Unroll crescent rolls and cut each into triangle into 3 pieces
  4. Roll each piece into a ball around a hershey kiss and lay at the bottom of a small bundt cake pan
  5. Once a full layer has been created, bake for 10 minutes
  6. While baking, continue wrapping chocolates with crescent pieces until all ingredients are used
  7. Layer the rest of the pieces on top of the first layer
  8. Pour melted coconut oil on top of the entire cake and sprinkle with cinnamon
  9. Return to oven to bake for an additional 30 minutes or until crescent roll dough is baked through and lightly browned
