Every Morning & Breakfast Board

Lamentations 3:23 (nirv)

His great love is new every morning. Lord, how faithful you are!

Some days are harder than others, am I right? There are days that I hop right up out of bed, without so much as a yawn. And then there are days that I hit snooze 3 times. Some days seem to fly right by and we crawl into bed with the satisfaction of a successful day. Other days, it seems that we’ve hit every single bump in the road before lunch.

And then there are the days that seem like they’ll never end; the days filled with more questions than answers, with diagnoses, with divorce paperwork, with pain and struggle. I think we’ve all been there, in one way or another.

The enemy wants you to believe that God is distant on those days, or that He’s none-existent. He wants you to think back through your behaviors and find a reason to blame yourself for the current situation you’re facing. He wants you to assume that you’ve done something to deserve this, or that God isn’t really who He says He is.

But the truth is that God’s faithfulness is real and true on the good days and the bad days. On those really good days, that’s something to celebrate, and on the really bad ones, it’s something to lean into and find hope in.

God doesn’t reveal to us what each day will hold, but He reassures us that it will be filled with His faithfulness. Today, I encourage you to let that be enough, because the truth is, even if it doesn’t always feel like it, it is more than enough.

What are you facing today? Journal about your concerns or anticipations for the day ahead, and write about how you can trust God’s faithfulness in each situation.

Spend time thanking God for His unending faithfulness.
