We had a family BBQ last night, and I am always catching flack for being “the healthy one” who doesn’t make dessert, so I decided to give everyone a little surprise with something sweet to finish the night. The even better news? They would be even more surprised if they knew that what they had was pretty clean!
Cut a peach in half, you’ll want to get the core out (which was the most challenging part). Place the peaches flesh side down directly on the grill and cook for 5-7 minutes. You’ll want the grill lines to be evident, and the peaches to be soft. Put them in a bowl, and top with vanilla ice cream. I am a big fan of Halo light ice cream. SO low calorie, low sugar, high protein, and no artificial sweeteners. It also comes in chocolate. Definitely a favorite of mine!
Drizzle a teaspoon of raw honey and sprinkle cinnamon on the top. SO easy, quick, and not loaded with chemicals, calories, or sugar!
