If we’ve been friends for any extended amount of time, you’ve definitely heard me talk about Costco. Honestly, if we’ve ever even carried on a conversation, chances are, it’s come up. That’s because it’s pretty much one of my favorite places on the planet (I wish I was being dramatic). Who doesn’t love a store that you can shop for food, clothes, appliances, cars, and even vacations all in one spot? And the best part is the quality of what they sell. As of July, Costco was listed as the second largest organic retailer in North America (the balance small business).
I get asked so frequently what I buy there, that I thought it was time to put together a list of my favorite products. If you’re a Costco junkie like myself, hopefully this gives you something new to look for next time you’re wandering the aisles. And if you haven’t taken the plunge yet, I hope this shows you a small fraction of the amazing things you’ll find behind that giant, gray, mystery-warehouse. I should note that this post isn’t sponsored, and I’m not being paid to write this. I pay full price for my membership each year, and I’m simply sharing because I have a serious passion for finding and trying new things. Told you, I wasn’t being dramatic earlier. Obsessed. Okay, let’s do this.
Asian Chicken Wraps
I can’t tell you how often I want these wraps. Sometimes, I’ll crave these same way that I get really hungry for my favorite burger or pizza place. They’re so good, and they’re the perfect quick lunch or dinner. If I know I’m going to have a busy week, I’ll buy these on my weekend shopping trip and portion them out for lunches so I don’t have to stop to make something or find myself in a drive thru. Honestly, I don’t even use the sauce, but hubby says it’s good.
Orchard Valley Salad Toppers
These make the perfect topping to any salad, hence the name. I don’t think there’s much explanation needed, so basically, just pick them up next time.
Dave’s Killer Bread
This is our favorite bread. You’ve probably heard of or seen this brand, but did you know that Costco has it? And it’s sold in a 2 pack – for basically the same price as a single loaf in the grocery store. We use one and freeze one.
Avocado Oil Spray
This makes cooking everything and anything a little bit easier, and this 2 pack is cheaper at Costco than a single bottle anywhere I’ve seen.
Nutzo Mixed Nut Butter
Have you tried Nutzo nut butter? If not, you’re seriously missing out. It’s so dang good. The only downside is those little seeds make brushing your teeth immediately after consuming a non-negotiable.
Birch Benders Paleo Pancake Mix
This is my absolute favorite packaged pancake mix. I actually saw so many Instagram Foodies sharing about this, but when I saw the prices in stores like Whole Foods, I opted not to try it. Then, one magical day, I spotted it while strolling through the aisles of Costco. It’s been true love ever since.
I know this isn’t the first time you’re hearing about Truly, because if we’re friends, and you’ve seen my Instagram, it was basically the theme of my summer stories. But, in case you haven’t heard, Costco sells the 24-pack for around $24 dollars. That’s $1ish per can, which is so cheap. Like cheaper than bottled water. And who wants bottled water when you can have Truly instead? Unless you’re driving, or working out… then you should probably opt for the water. Anyway, aside from being a great price, they have great variety packs. I’m all about a good variety pack.
These. Honestly, it’s hard for me to keep these in the house because I just can’t keep my little paws out of the bag. I bought one of these bags right before we moved from Dallas to Chicago, and between me and my hubby, it was gone by the time we arrived. It’s the perfect snack on its own, or it makes a great granola topping for yogurt + fruit.
Those are my top 8 Costco finds you need to try, if you haven’t already! The only thing I have left to do is to urge you to leave the house immediately and grab these goodies! Do you have any Costco favs that didn’t make my list? I’d love to hear what they are so I can add them to my next shopping list!
