25 Days of Christmas {For Couples!}

Happppppppy Thanksgiving/Black Friday hangover! Right?! There’s SO much prepping and anticipation for turkey (pie) and family time (shopping) and it’s over in a flash!

Luckily, Christmas is just around the corner, and there’s so much to celebrate this year! I don’t know about you guys, but my hubby and I have gotten into a rut. We don’t really do anything anymore. I mean, we do life – but nothing out of the ordinary.

I’ve shared a little bit about our battle with infertility this year, and the holidays are proving to be harder than I had expected. I honestly didn’t expect to care this much that we aren’t pregnant yet, but I also never thought we wouldn’t be pregnant by now, and in every vision that I had for this Christmas, I was either totting around an adorable baby bump or putting a newborn in a basket in front of the tree to spam all of you with pictures. We typically travel for Christmas, somewhere sunny and beachy, but we made the choice at the beginning of this year to plan for an at-home holiday, in anticipation of…baby.

Since there is no baby and no beach, we decided to do something fun together for the month of December. We wanted some activities that would bring us out of our normal dinner, TV, bed routine and also give us some new traditions that we can share with our little family one day.

So, I present you with 25 Days of Christmas. There are enough activities to do one each day, and even if it only takes 10 minutes, it’s uninterrupted time that is planned together.

I’ll be posting our daily activity on my Instagram page, so you can follow along! I’ll also be using the hashtag #25daysofcouples – if you are planning to participate in this daily challenge with us, be sure to hashtag your picture so that I can feature some of you lovebirds and we can share in the holiday fun together! There might even be some giveaways?! I can’t wait to see your photos!
